Let me tell you about just words, around nine years ago my friend, a stereo typical blonde, Oma Hamou nee McConnell, became the target of a cyber attack… Setting the background, some twenty plus years ago, back before we understood about abused spouse syndrome, she was the wife of a man who sexually abused her children and kept her under a tight leash, he abused her with things like physically raping her with a loaded gun or raping her while trapping the kids in a closet full of guns and telling them if they moved they would die, firing that gun at her point blank after he forced her into a kneeling “execution” pose, just minor things…, such that she took the kids and ran. While on the run she wrote some checks on a joint account to survive. Later that came back to haunt her as they bounced. So she went to court, admitted that she had written the checks, paid restitution, paid her debt to society and now separated from her abusive ex, she went on with her life. (Note: this chapter in her life is verified in that the Montana Supreme Court eventually became involved)

… many years later she became the bone of contention in what appears to be a power play over, of all things, the Alexander Palace in Russia. You see she has Russian blood and grew up in Hollywood, so the muse hit her and she started to promote a concept of a movie about the last Czar, unfortunately she picked as being a expert the web master of a site on the web called simply enough --- AlexanderPalace.com, why the owner, a Bob Aitcheson of Austin Texas , flipped out over her is something that we do not understand, professional jealousy, love/infatuation, fear , rejection any or all could be reasons, as when she went to Russia to do preliminary work, the Russians there said if Bob Atchison is involved we want nothing to do with you. So she resigned as a Vice President of his web association and told him that she could not work with him and from that time on he having at some point dug up her past history created a story of her being a felon, who had no project and was just using the movie to scam people, who was a convicted felon still on the run from the law, all kinds of things which he communicated in back yard gossip, letters and phone calls directed to those she was trying to interest in her film project. Even paying people in Russia to intercept her communication to her contacts there and send them to him.

Time passed and she could not figure out why she would ask her contacts in Russia for information critical to making the project fly and received no answers, milestones passed without completion and her funding dried up leaving her with business debt, which now Bob Atchison took and added it to his story of her being a felon fugitive on the run, and he moved this story on to the internet as a forum to tell even more people his version of her story. This is where I became involved, I saw his story on the web and frankly it scared me, it was very convincingly written and I had just met this woman professionally. Bob offered to prove his points with raw data, and knowing that just because it is written on the internet does not make it true, I wrote him and received back some links which I verified to find that what he wrote was not correct, he had taken specific pieces of the truth, and twisted it into a untruth. I called him on this and received back a blistering reply that I was Oma and to never contact him again. So I asked Oma, and she told me her story of why she was convicted of a Felony so many years ago. She sent a cease and desist letter telling him that what he wrote was untrue and libelous, and that page vanished to reappear on a “free” web hosts page, which after being contacted the host took down the page under an acceptable use policy violation, only to have the page reappear at a different host. The one consistency was that there remained a secret link on the AlexanderPalace.com web site to these various sites, yet these pages claimed no involvement with Bob. This process of discovering a new page and then getting it taken down continued. All the while the sites claimed that the site was not involved with Bob Atchison up until we were able to get the sign up record for one site that showed that Bob’s company Pallart, inc. owned the IP address used to sign up the site, this site was again removed, and this time the page of information libeling Oma showed up on a paid hosting site and eventually the domain name was discovered as being registered to Rob Moshien, who appears to be Bob’s “life” partner, and had been listed on Bob’s site as a member of his company. Day by day the claims of how horrible a person Oma is/was grew more and more egregious. Their claims bordered on the truth, but they only took the worst portion of it, and then twisted the conclusions in a pattern of truth, truth, possibility, conclusion, where the possibility might be true, and the conclusion was twisted in to a lie which hurt and maimed Oma psychologically.

There was nothing the law could do, she showed no dripping blood, no fist had smashed her face, but the blood dripped copiously in her heart, almost as copiously as the tears ran down her face. The knife wounds where they stabbed her in the heart with their words will take much longer to heal than a bloody nose, - if - she is able to heal from the psychological trauma. For they took the most traumatic part of Oma’s life and ripped off the scabs and dug deep with their words, poisoning her soul and stabbing her in the heart with memories, and they kept doing it. She kept asking them to stop, but like a school yard bully they persisted. Eventually, she was able to raise the capital, justice is only really available for the rich, and hired a lawyer. A Texas judge looked at the evidence and issued a Temporary Restraining Order that said in part,”The court finds and concludes that third party plaintiffs have shown a likelihood of success on the merits of this cause, that a temporary injunction is necessary to prevent harm to Ms. Hamou. That unless injunction lies, third party plaintiffs (ed.: Oma, et. al.) will be without any adequate remedy at law, in that no amount of damages will be able to repair the loss of reputation to the parties.” The net result was that negotiations were entered into for a public apology, a retraction and one dollar. The temptation to hurt Oma must have grown too strong and the cyber attack moved to Private Messages and such in violation of the T.R.O. and eventually negations for the apology broke down.

The time for trial eventually came, each having sued the other, Oma having run out of money came to trial fresh from the hospital, unprepared, with no lawyer at her side. So she was forced to unsuit her claims, Bob on the other hand, his half million dollar nonsense suit having been reduced to one claim of Oma owes me money because of a verbal agreement, even having a series of quests to have Oma put back in jail which he says is where she belongs all culminating in accusing Oma of a murder for hire plot, which was investigated and dropped as being without merit as were all the other attempts, --- anyway these multitude of claims, similar to the criminal charges, were all dropped except for the one point of a verbal agreement and because of a lie Bob won that court case on the issue of she said she would pay me and since then has crowed that the courts believed me, not her. So believe me when I tell you that what I say is the truth.

The cyber attacks and bullying have since moved to the Blogs, where Oma has a full Blog dedicated to her, spouting almost verbatim the Bob and Rob story of Hate-Oma, I even have one filled with words full of lies and twisted partial truths, whose conclusions are lies attempting to denigrate me as a defender of my friend, words that have harmed me. Still words, words of truth and education are the only weapons I have, time after time, proven point by point, points backed up with documentation, torn their story about Oma apart, showing their lies but they just keep coming, they gnaw at her heels, hamstringing her will, sapping her strength and will to live. They tease her with statements on Blogspot.com that they know where she lives, she has because of their words in the past been slammed up against a parking garage wall, and she has had blood poured on her porch, she has an Ex husband who has said that this time he will kill her if he ever finds her again. Even worse things have happened to her because of their words, things that can scar a woman, and they succeeded in putting her in jail because someone believed their words. They bully her with words, whipping her and flagellating her with words that unmercifully never cease, raking up the muck of old memories best left buried, they challenge her, and taunt her day by day, minute by minute recruiting others to join in with the Oma baiting. Now they use words of fiction, but written such that they appear to be truth, such that someone unaware would perceive the statements as truth and Rob allows only the words that hurt to stay up on his Blog, deleting those words which defend Oma.

The only way that I see for Oma to survive this is if H.R.1966 : To amend title 18, United States Code, with respect to cyber bullying. Sponsored by Rep Sanchez, Linda T.
