There seem to be two main threads of conversation going on here, the back and forth banter between “Them”, Rob Moshein (the Austin wine guy), Bob Atchison (the AlexanderPalace.org and Pallasart.com), et. al. (and who knows for sure who the et. al. really is.) who have acted as Judge, Jury, and Executioner towards Oma Hamou. And “Us”, those who believe that Oma Hamou was unjustly cyber attacked by a bunch of back street cyber thugs/bullies and who have been defending her. Justin on Oma’s side seems to be the main player sparing with Rob/Bob. This sparing is NOT Oma’s cup of tea…

The other conversation is more of a one sided one, and that is a conversation of education. Every now and then someone besides “Them” will ask a question, most questions seem to come from quiet sources that do not show up in the public realm as there seems to be a great deal of worry/fear that Rob/Bob will find them and attack them for being on the “other” side. This seems to be my roll, that of educating. Over the long term I feel that, as the law has not been able to relieve the situation, that education and public opinion is Oma’s only long term weapon.

The background for those of you wondering what on earth is going on here is that many, many, years ago a baby girl was born into this world… Oma Hamou nee McConnell grew up in the back hills; she experienced sexual abuse as a child and escaped it eventually by hopping a bus to what appeared to a young teenage girl to be a field of dreams, Hollywood, USA. There she lucked out and instead of walking the streets, she walked with the stars. She met the right type of person and acquired a new “father”, one who helped her and guided her and more importantly introduced her to the right people, such that when she was old enough she became a moderately successful model and yes, like most all models, virtually all of her body has been seen by the camera, this was back in the days of magazines and print, days of fleeting fame. She met many of the movers and shakers of the film industry, she did her time in front of the camera both still and movie. This took her around the world, and into the best stores on Rodeo Drive.

Eventually she married a guy who turned out to be a class A creep something that is not abnormal for those who suffered abuse as a child. In escaping that abusive relationship, (think of all the worst things you have ever heard of on TV and you will not have even come close to the truth of this relationship) she wrote some checks on a joint account, while on the run from him, that the creep caused to bounce. Also you have to place these events back in history where husbands had high, middle and low justice over their wives, and a domestic quarrel was not something that the law stepped into. Also remember that back then they had no idea as to what “battered spouse” syndrome was, they had never even thought of the concept of someone who was abused going back time and time again to their abuser as being weird.

Bottom line is that the law stepped in eventually and Oma plead guilty to writing some checks that bounced, she pled guilty because she did write the checks and her ex after promising to make good the checks from joint property assets did not. So the law slapped her on the wrist, she had done jail time instead of bail which probably saved her life by keeping her away from the “The Creep”, the courts took notice of the extenuating circumstances and as restoration was made, wished her luck and sent her on her way having fulfilled her debt to society. Probation issues because of paper work snafus occurred as this was a four state situation which prolonged the situation and left her branded a “felon” with a history of having written bad checks in three states along with the probation violations (she did everything she should have done, but the paperwork side of things did not follow along to the other states.) Having successfully left that relationship by the simple expedient of giving up all rights to common property as blood money to get the divorce, she basically took the clothes on her back, her child from before she ever met the creep, and never looked back. During the marriage you ask? She did get pregnant, he beat the crap out of her and caused an abortion, she lost her baby because of him. Later she did find a worthwhile man, loved and married him, the marriage was fated for reasons other than love to fail and she left the relationship keeping as a loving memory the name of Hamou

Hollywood slips into the story because having been bitten by the creative bug, Oma decided, became obsessed, with making a movie about the last of the Russian Czars, having a lot of Russian blood in her veins, as well as native American Indian, and the standard American mix of backgrounds, she felt a strong connection to them, and she looked up her Hollywood connections and started to promote her project. Not having directed a movie she found a director, and even a professional line producer who would do the day to day work, while she and her dream focused their efforts. Making a movie is not an “I” thing, it is a team effort; Oma had to find a team, and then sell an investor on the dream and the team. Plus she had money of her own to launch the project.

On a different track we find the villains in this story having taken an interest, nay an obsession with the last of the Czars as a child, and taken that obsession later in life to the web where he promoted himself as a historian and expert on that period of history, and along the way having created a web association that he could not report to the courts where any of the money that was collected by it went, links on his see-how-gracious-I-am-for-providing-this-resource history site that fed “millions” of dollars worth of traffic to his web design and Icon painting business and having helped raise awareness of the precarious status of the Alexander Palace in Russia (something that was worthwhile even if he was not the self proclaimed catalyst who accomplished this all by himself) , he then created strife and discord in the restoration project in Russia, even to the extent of taking valuable artifacts back to the USA with him. Such that he was no longer welcomed by Dr. Sautov (may God bless his soul and his family still on earth) the true hero of the Alexander Palace, right alongside of President Putin, who saw through the bull and saw Bob Atchison for who he was, and refused to allow Bob Atchison back into the Palace ever again.

The marriage of these two came when Oma seeking out the best team, asked Bob Atchison to be involved. She fell for his self made I-am-a-historian hype, he is very persuasive, every bit as any cult leader ever was, he could charm a babe from the breast, and a leopard from its spots. She bit on the hype until in Russia she was told if Bob Atchison is involved we want nothing to do with you, so she resigned as Vice President of his web association, and removed him from the project. It appears that from that time on Bob Atchison was her mortal enemy. (Can you say Motive?) He found her past as a felon and actually travelled to Russia to destroy her project, he promised to pay if someone would intercept her communications and with big crocodile tears in his eyes, reeking that he believed from every pore of his body, told people such as the little old women who had worked closely with Oma for months that she was really a felon now on the run from justice and that the law in the USA was actively searching for her, she had no project, she was false do not help her! Can you feel how these little old ladies must have felt and reacted after learning to love Oma over months of close associations and then looking in to the sincere tear dripping eyes of Bob Atchison while he told them how much of criminal she was? Needless to say Bob’s ploy was effective long enough for Oma to start missing milestones in her funding, such that her investors pulled the plug. Oma just could not understand why her contacts in Russia would not write back, why they would not give her the information she so desperately needed to make the next milestone, she kept going as best she could expecting that any second that her partners and contacts in Russia would come through, but Bob Atchison had wrought well, and his construct of lies held together long enough. Oma declared force majeure as allowed under the terms of her contract, her ability to help the Church and the Alexander Palace having been gutted by the actions of one man – Bob Atchison. Oma Hamou flopped around on the beach of dreams for awhile, and racked up damage in the way of business debt.

After the hands on approach did not kill Oma Hamou and her project and it looked like as a phoenix from the ashes she was getting media attention in Russia and it looked like she was going to rise from the dead here in the USA, Bob Atchison took the battle to the Internet, he then published that she was a horrible person, a felon, a fugitive from justice currently on the run from the law, a scammer and do not help her with her project. Recently we found that Bob’s partner Rob Moshein has admitted responsibility for all the sites to follow that all stated the same theme, but who all stated that this was a “public service” announcement warning the world of this woman that had no connection to Bob Atchison. So for nine or so years now Rob Moshein has assisted Bob Atchison in persecuting Oma Hamou. The big question is Why?

Currently the effort seems to be centered on Rob’s own blog, where in the comments section they attack Oma almost on a minute by minute basis, the words are spoken as if true, but if one followed the action from day one it is obvious that the posters are all fictitious, but they act as if they are real. The net result is that to anyone finding that thread would believe that these are all real people who know Ms Hamou and are speaking words of truth. Nothing could be further from the truth. What is written there is intended to harm Oma emotionally, to terrorize her, to distract her from her efforts to file a bill of review in Texas courts that will set aside a court verdict of Oma owes Bob some money for consulting, which he won by lying. She has also been working with any law enforcement agency that she can find to see if there is anything that can be done to stop the pain and hurt. So tirelessly they stalk her, evaluating all the traffic logs trying to find her, find her why? So that they can send other people to physically attack her as has happened in the past, because someone believed their words of hate and acted on them? The characters came in as un connected, but they say things that only Rob/Bob would know, how?

The issue with words on the Internet is that they stay long past the point that they were written, becoming a fresh repetition with every new visitor. So all the sites that preach hate, including the ones that Rob says is not his, just like he said all those in the past were not his, but now he admits that they were his, keep repeating their story a fresh to every new visitor, Rob says that his blog now has a huge readership, so how much harm has Oma suffered now because of Rob’s words ?

As you try to decide which side is which, is Oma this huge criminal, or are the acts of these two men criminal in nature, consider what one judge wrote,”The court finds and concludes that third party plaintiffs have shown a likelihood of success on the merits of this cause, that a temporary injunction is necessary to prevent harm to Ms. Hamou. That unless injunction lies, third party plaintiffs (ed.: Oma, et. al.) will be without any adequate remedy at law, in that no amount of damages will be able to repair the loss of reputation to the parties.”
